Job Description

A full service boarding facility located inside an animal hospital is seeking positive, energetic, ambitious people to be part of our team. Highway 92 Animal Hospital in Woodstock, GA is seeking full and part time kennel assistants. We are a multiservice facility that focuses on respect, appreciation, communication, and teamwork. An ideal candidate would be open to working in other areas of the hospital when needed, have a flexible schedule, and be driven to learning new skills.

Our kennel assistants will ensure that our furry friends are cared for as family members while performing daily upkeep on the facilities (cages, yard, kennel, ancillary equipment). We offer a competitive salary and full benefits. Experience with animals is preferrable, and training on site with opportunities for growth will be provided.

About You:

  • You are a kennel assistant that understands the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.
  • You’re not afraid to jump in and get your feet wet! A hard worker who takes initiative and contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, you will help get all the day’s duties done!
  • You can adapt to the individual needs of each patient, not afraid to ask questions, are eager to continue enhancing your skill set, and truly want to make a difference.
  • You have a foundational understanding of small animal behavior/restraint (fear free training will be provided).
