Job Description

We are currently looking to hire a Kennel Manager for our team. The objective of having a Kennel Manager is to ensure that our kennel is kept spotless, our patient care is exceptional and that our staff members work together as a team. We want to be more than just another boarding facility. All animals are to be provided with love, care, food, bedding, clean cages, exercise and the proper medication. The Kennel Manager will oversee his/her staff to ensure that all protocols are being followed and our patients are receiving the best quality of care. Professionalism and leadership is expected at all times.

The right candidate must be enthusiastic, motivated, a quick learner, and a good communicator.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

*Proper animal restraint

*Ensure cleanliness and sanitary protocols are followed

*Ensure animals are kept clean and are well taken care of while they are in our care

*Know how to bathe and brush dogs

*Admit and release boarders

*Able to administer medications properly

*Able to recognize signs of illness in patients

*Show and provide strong leadership and supervisory skills

*Meet regularly with hospital management

*Develop methods that will enhance morale of the kennel staff

*Provide instruction and training

*Hold regular meetings within the kennel department

This is a full time position, weekends and holidays are a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
