Vinton Veterinary Hospital is looking for individuals to join its After Hours Urgent Care team. Our growing urgent care shift is looking for LVTs and Assistants to join a dynamic and passionate team that serves pets brought in for urgent care services after regular business hours. Job consists of triaging phone calls and walk-ins, assisting after hours doctor in treating urgent care type cases and providing excellent customer service to clients. Some sedated procedures and minor surgeries are included in services provided. Shifts range from full shift (1pm-10pm) to partial shift (6pm-10pm) shifts. Closing time does depend on cases that present each evening though most shifts conclude duties shortly after 10pm. Shift differential of an additional 15% does apply for any hours worked after 5pm. Experience required to apply for veterinary assistant and License required for any LVT candidates.
