Table Mountain Veterinary Clinic is a fast-paced, four-doctor practice located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We care for dogs, cats, and a variety of small mammals, and we are seeking a Lead Veterinary Technician to join our team.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Provide Hands-On Patient Care – Administer vaccines, draw blood, place IV catheters, perform radiographs, run lab work, and monitor anesthesia with skill and compassion.

  • Support and Lead Surgical Procedures – Prepare and maintain the surgery suite, assist in induction and intubation, monitor patients intra- and post-operatively, and ensure accurate medical record-keeping.

  • Perform Dental Procedures – Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, monitor anesthesia, and assist veterinarians with extractions.

  • Mentor and Develop the Team – Provide coaching and feedback, encourage growth, and support training opportunities for technicians and assistants.

  • Foster a Positive Clinic Culture – Model professionalism, promote teamwork, and address conflicts constructively to maintain a supportive work environment.

  • Ensure Protocols and Standards Are Met – Lead by example in safety, patient care, and client communication, while helping to hold the team accountable.

  • Act as a Liaison Between Doctors and Staff – Communicate clearly, delegate effectively, and ensure smooth daily workflow in all areas of the hospital.

  • Provide Critical Care for Hospitalized Patients – Execute treatments and monitor recovery as directed by veterinarians, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.

  • Maintain High Standards – Uphold hospital protocols, keep treatment areas clean and organized, and contribute to efficient clinic operations.

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Certified or licensed veterinary technician (preferred) with 3+ years of experience

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and organizational skills

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and dedication to patient care

What We Offer:

 

  • Salary range: $22-$25 depending on experience
