Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT)

Piper Creek Veterinary Clinic

Job Description

Hey RVTs — There’s a Great Opportunity in Red Deer, AB!

If you’re looking for a clinic where your skills are valued, the team has your back, and no one leaves you to fly solo on a busy day, Piper Creek Veterinary Clinic might be the right fit for you.

We’re a small animal practice in Red Deer, AB, and we’re on the lookout for a friendly, capable RVT to join our crew of three experienced veterinarians. Whether you’re just starting out or have a few years under your belt, we’ll make sure you feel supported, appreciated, and part of the team from day one.

Here’s what makes this place awesome:

The team vibe is strong – We’re big on collaboration and jumping in to help each other, no egos here.
Work-life balance matters – No on-call or after-hours, and we’ll work with you on a schedule that fits your life. We’re open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.—closed Sundays and holidays.

Lots of variety – We offer everything from preventive and wellness care to dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, radiology, in-house lab work, and ultrasound. Your days will be interesting, and your full RVT skillset will be put to good use.
Room to grow – Want to get better at anesthesia? Dive deeper into surgery or client education? We’ve got you. CE is supported and encouraged.
A solid benefits package – Competitive pay, extended health/dental, CE allowance, paid dues, uniforms, RRSP contributions, staff pet discounts… all the good stuff.

A bit about you:
You’re kind, dependable, and ready to jump in. You like working in a clinic where people genuinely get along and take pride in what they do. You’re ABVTA-registered (or about to be) and looking for a place to grow.

Curious? Let’s chat.
