About the Role:

 

As a Veterinary Technician at Bay Pines Veterinary Clinic, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our animal patients. Your responsibilities will include:

 

- Assisting the Veterinarian during routine patient appointments and surgical procedures with precision and compassion.

- Collecting and preserving laboratory samples, ensuring accurate documentation, and handling.

- Performing ultrasound examinations under the guidance of the attending Veterinarian, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of our patients.

- Sharing your knowledge and expertise by mentoring and training junior staff members in basic veterinary functions.

- Ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and proper storage of surgical equipment to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

- Collaborating with our Veterinarians to develop engaging training courses and educational materials for our staff members.

 

Job Details:

 

-Job Type: Full-time

- Pay: Competitive salary range of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

- Expected Hours: 35 – 40 per week (Ideally looking to fill four 10-hour shifts and one Saturday shift every 6 weeks)

- Relocation bonus available
