Veterinary Technician – Full Time

We are growing and looking to add some amazing staff!

Position Summary: The veterinary technician works directly with the veterinarian to provide medical support by means of technical work, record keeping and communication tasks. The veterinary technician has a very significant role in communicating with and educating pet owners and support staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Perform, track and log all medical care

· Assist veterinarian with diagnostic and surgical procedures

· Maintain animal records

Desired Skills and Experience

·Licensed as a Veterinary Technician in the State of Michigan

· Must be a quick-thinker and make decisions independently

·Multi-task and prioritize in line with organizational priorities, deal with a certain level of expected challenges and be able to meet deadlines

·Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

32-40 hours/weekly – 4 to 5 days

$22+hrly based on experience; health insurance, sick/vacation time, and more
