Our clinic offers services including digital full body & dental radiographs, full diagnostic laboratory, soft tissue & some orthopedic surgeries, dental prophylaxis as well as alternative therapies like acupuncture. Licensed Veterinary Technicians play an integral leadership role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, assisting doctors in surgery, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. We are looking for a full time dental technician to maintain and grow our advanced dental program. We have a professionally trained dental team for you to join. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come!

About You:
· You are an experienced veterinary technician with a minimum of 2 years veterinary experience. Dental and anesthesia experience is a must!

Specific Duties for this position:
- Collaborate closely with our Veterinary Dentists to plan and execute dental procedures on dogs and cats.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing.
- Operate and maintain dental radiography equipment, ensuring the highest quality diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain compressor-driven dental unit and associated high- and low-speed handpieces.
- Educate clients on the importance of dental health and post-procedure care.
- Assist with training of other technicians.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of dental procedures.
- Work with DVM’s to develop a comprehensive plan for anesthesia induction and maintenance while ensuring the vitals of the patient are closely monitored.
- Ensure patients are comfortable in a stress-free environment and be an active participant in monitoring them for signs of discomfort; recommend pain management as needed.
- Operate and maintain anesthesia vaporizers, breathing circuits, scavenge system and patient monitors.
- Assist with training of other technicians.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
Anticipated Schedule:
· We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 12:30pm, closed on Sunday.
· This position would work 4 ten hour shifts, Monday – Thursday.

Compensation: We believe that each team member should be compensated based on their knowledge, skills, and experiences. The wage rate will be determined by the technicians’ level of experience in pet dentistry.
