Nebraska Animal Medical Center in Lincoln, NE, is seeking experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our dedicated team. Qualifications:

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician in Nebraska (or eligible for licensure).
  • Emergency experience is preferred, but not required—we value a strong foundation and eagerness to learn.
  • Self-starter with excellent critical thinking skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Job duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Triage of incoming patients and emergency cases.
  • Collection and analysis of laboratory samples.
  • Diagnostic imaging (including ultrasound).
  • Management and nursing care for hospitalized patients of varying stability.
  • Administration of enteral and parenteral medications.
  • Clear communication of treatment plans with clients.
  • Surgical preparation, assistance, and anesthetic management.
  • Supporting our full range of services, from wellness to emergencies.

  • Full daytime emergency capabilities.
  • Dedicated ultrasound room with two ultrasound machines.
  • Seven exam rooms plus a dedicated comfort room.
  • Fully equipped dental suite with monitoring and warming.
  • Large surgery suite.
  • Boarding and daycare with a turf play yard.
  • Full grooming facility.
  • Radioiodine (I-131) treatment for cats.
