Job Description

Our company is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. A successful candidate will be a certified technician who is able to balance the needs of both the animals and clients. The ideal candidate for this position is able to communicate effectively, work well with team members and follow detailed instructions when completing specific duties. This position is primarily hands-on and requires physical stamina in order to perform both routine and emergency tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients to describe their pets' injuries and needs.
  • Assist the veterinarian during surgical procedures or other appointments.
  • Administer medication to animals as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Document all information about a pet's behavior and health, including changes and updates that are noted between appointments.
  • Carry out the veterinarian's instructions regarding pets after they have been checked into their hospital rooms.
  • Give shots to animals as directed by the veterinarian.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
