Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Dale City Animal Hospital

Job Description

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)  | Growing AAHA Hospital | Woodbridge, VA

Dale City Animal Hospital
📍 14297 Potomac Mills Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22192

Are you an LVT looking for a fun, supportive, and growth-focused veterinary team? Dale City Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing AAHA-accredited small animal and exotics practice in Woodbridge, VA!

We recently completed a full renovation, featuring:

  • 9 spacious exam rooms
  • Bright, open treatment areas
  • Brand-new dental and surgical suites
  • Digital radiography, ultrasound, and modern equipment

We treat dogs, cats, and exotics (small mammals, birds, reptiles) and are actively building out our daytime ER department. We’re ideally looking for an LVT with 2–5 years of experience, a background in emergency medicine is a plus! But for the right person — someone who brings great energy, a team-first attitude, and a passion for patient care — we’re absolutely open to less experience. We're more focused on finding the right teammate who fits our culture and is excited to grow with us.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work a mix of general practice, surgery, and outpatient care
  • Care for hospitalized patients during the day
  • Collaborate with a laid-back and independent team that values quality medicine and mutual respect
  • Help shape the future of our daytime emergency services

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • 4-day workweek — enjoy work-life balance with no weekends or holidays
  • Compensation: $25–$28/hour depending on experience
  • Full benefits package: CE allowance, license reimbursement, health/dental/vision, pet care discounts
  • Weekly team meetings and a collaborative leadership style — we support your individual growth and passions
  • A supportive team culture where we genuinely enjoy working together
  • Frequent team events and staff gatherings – we work hard and have fun doing it!

Our Culture

We believe in:

  • Individuality – Be yourself! Our leadership embraces who you are.
  • Growth – We’ll help you get where you want to go in your career.
  • Trust & Independence – You know your role, and we trust you to do it.
  • Teamwork – Calm, welcoming, and team-oriented work environment.

Join a hospital that’s growing and wants you to grow with it. If you’re a positive, motivated, and flexible LVT who wants to make an impact and be part of an exciting new chapter, we’d love to hear from you!
