Job Description

Renton Highlands Pet Clinic is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team of hardworking, fun individuals, and to help support our new doctor! We are open 7 days a week and see patients by appointment so are able to offer a flexible schedule along with great benefits to fit anyone’s needs.

Renton is twenty minutes away from Seattle and has an abundance of; culture, locally-owned restaurants and businesses, parks, and a beach.

Skills include, but not limited to:

  • I.V. Catheter placement and phlebotomy
  • Skilled in anesthesia induction, monitoring and recovery
  • Patient triage and communication with DVM’s
  • Charting in medical records and drug logs
  • Knowledge of pharmacology and drug calculations
  • Proficient in dentistry, including dental radiograph techniques, or willingness to learn
  • Client communication and education
  • Perform in house laboratory testing including CBC, Chemistry, ear cytology’s, and urinalysis
  • Obtaining patient vital signs
  • Current Veterinary Technician License required
  • Feline Friendly Certified or clinic will provide training

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
