Sumner Veterinary Hospital is seeking full-time Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our AAHA-accredited, 24-hour hospital. Our team provides General Practice, Emergency Care, Rehabilitation, Grooming, Lodging, Daycare, and Training, giving technicians the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine while continuing to grow professionally.

With 14 doctors, 11 LVTs, 33 Veterinary Assistants, and 40 support staff, you'll join a hospital that values collaboration, mentorship, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities are performed in accordance with Washington State regulations for Licensed Veterinary Technicians and may include:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to hospitalized patients
  • Assist with surgery, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, diagnostics, and emergency care
  • Perform technical skills within the LVT scope of practice
  • Partner closely with veterinarians to provide high-quality patient care
  • Educate clients on treatment plans and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Contribute to an exceptional client experience while upholding the hospital's standards of care

What We're Looking For

  • Current Washington State Licensed Veterinary Technician credential required

Schedule

Full-Time

Available schedules include:

  • Wednesday–Saturday | 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday–Friday | 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight)

Weekends and holidays are required.
