Managing Veterinarian – Foxmoor Veterinary Clinic

Foxmoor Veterinary Clinic, a small animal practice, is seeking both a Managing and an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. Located in the heart of Aurora, a suburb of Chicago, both the clinic and the location are ideal for an exceptional work-life balance.

Foxmoor Veterinary Clinic is a smaller, yet growing hospital. Our mission is to give our patients and their families quality medical care with a “family feel”. We strive to have our clients understand that their pets are our pets too.


What We Offer:

  • An appointment-based schedule that flows well through the day, allowing for adequate time to call clients with lab results, write medical records, and research cases.
  • Monday – Friday schedule (approximately 40 hours) with no on-call or weekends, allowing for time to enjoy your family, friends, and hobbies.
  • Remote Teleradiology – all radiographs are read by a board-certified radiologist to help support your x-ray diagnoses.
  • In-House Ultrasound services (both abdominal and echocardiogram) by trained sonographers, with reports, diagnosis and treatment recommendations by board-certified cardiologists and radiologists.
  • Telemedicine.
  • Bilingual staff.
  • Fully renovated and updated clinic in 2019.

What We Are Looking For:

  • We are seeking an individual with strong leadership skills, excited about running and managing a growing hospital, and guiding the staff and clients in a forward direction; while maintaining a fun, yet focused, work environment.
  • An individual with a good understanding of the business, the ability to read and understand profit/loss statements, and an understanding of industry standards and benchmarks.
  • We are seeking someone who feels confident in maintaining a profitable and operationally sound clinic.
  • The managing doctor would partner closely with our hospital manager to run and oversee the day-to-day duties as well as act as a liaison between district leadership and the clinic team.
  • An individual wanting to be a part of a small team with a family feels that thrives in helping the clients and patients in the community through services, education, and general care.
  • Someone who enjoys working with a team that likes to laugh, have fun, and partake in occasional team-oriented outings (team dinners, events, and outings!)
