Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for the clinic's medical protocols and standards of care
- Lead and mentor our team of veterinary professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Ensure delivery of high-quality veterinary care across all services
- Maintain and enhance clinical protocols and best practices
- Participate in direct patient care while overseeing overall medical operations
- Drive continuous improvement in medical quality and client service
- Collaborate with practice management on business operations and growth initiatives
- Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and safety standards
- Support the development and implementation of new services and technologies
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and the local veterinary community

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Current California veterinary license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
- Commitment to continuing education and staying current with veterinary advances
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
