Exciting opportunity for a Managing Veterinarian to join our team! Paris Hill Cat Hospital in Clinton, NY is looking for a Managing Veterinarian. This is a great opportunity for existing managing veterinarians or experienced associates looking to advance into a leadership position.


Partner with the Hospital Manager to drive financial performance and cultivate a collaborative team environment. You'll receive support from the Divisional Leadership Team for practice management training and resources to lead a best-in-class clinic. Responsibilities include advancing medical care, leading staff, financial management, and growing the practice through innovation and community involvement.


At Paris Hill Cat Hospital, you'll have the unique opportunity to practice feline only medicine with a comprehensive, dedicated team of skilled technicians and support staff. With many licensed technicians and veterinary assistants (all of our assistants are completing veterinary technician college programs), we are fully equipped to assist our doctors in providing a wide range of services, from routine wellness care to urgent medical attention. Our current surgical expertise encompasses everything from standard spays and neuters to soft tissue surgery. We have a dedicated dental suite with feline-specific instrumentation and digital dental x-ray to provide advanced dental care to our feline patients.


As the largest feline only practice in Upstate New York, we prioritize delivering top-notch care for our clients. Our brand-new facility is state-of-the-art and designed with the specific needs of cats in mind. Not only is our medicine top-notch, but our staff is as well. With long-term employees dedicated to advancing their knowledge in the veterinary field, you will also experience a collaborative team that ranked our hospital with a 4.5/5 in our NVA employee engagement survey.


We offer a variety of resources via NVA to help you run an effective practice including recruiting, marketing, HR, legal, and IT support, industry-leading new graduate mentorship program, and access to the veterinarian-operated Medical Advisory Board.   


Base salary ranges from $120,000-$150,000 with a production bonus for a total compensation range of $140,000-$170,000 plus a management bonus. Health, dental, and vision. 401K with match. Paid CE days and allowance. Vacation, sick time and paid holidays. Paid State License, DEA and Professional dues/fees. Relocation compensation is available for those candidates who do not live in the area currently.


Clinton, New York is a picture book town sitting at the base of the Adirondack mountains. We have a coveted school system, a weekly farmer's market and various festivals throughout the year. Clinton is a quick drive to Syracuse or Albany for a city escape. The train station is 20 minutes away for a weekend getaway to New York City.
