We recently opened our new state-of-the-art veterinary hospital just outside Nashville, Tennessee. Designed by a leader in veterinary architecture, our facility features:

  • 7 modern examination rooms
  • Dedicated surgery suite
  • Specialized dental suite
  • Advanced procedures suite for ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and endoscopy
  • Full diagnostic capabilities
  • Cold laser therapy
  • Chemotherapy services
  • Orthopedic surgery capabilities (including TTA procedures)


Position Overview

As Managing Doctor, you'll provide medical leadership, oversee associate veterinarians, and ensure regulatory compliance while working with the Hospital Manager to drive financial performance and operations. This role focuses on delivering exceptional medical care and fostering a collaborative team environment.


Key Responsibilities

Medical & Team Leadership

  • Oversee medical cases and protocols across all veterinarians
  • Manage associate veterinarians and support staff development
  • Ensure quality care, accurate estimates, and effective client communication
  • Participate in recruitment and performance monitoring
  • Support training programs and maintain medical standards

Business Management

  • Drive revenue growth and manage hospital expenses
  • Contribute to annual planning and budgeting
  • Increase patient visits and community engagement
  • Monitor client service and implement practice growth initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Active Tennessee veterinary license
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to coach teams and manage operations
  • Commitment to the highest standard of veterinary medicine
