JOB TITLE:  Marketing Operations, Specialist

REPORTS TO: Marketing Operations, Sr. Specialist

BRIEF JOB SUMMARY:  We are seeking a Marketing Data Operations Specialist to serve as the critical bridge between our marketing strategy and data infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and usability of our customer data within our Client Reminder Management platform, Customer.io. In this role, you will maintain rigorous data hygiene, partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable reporting, and translate high-level marketing objectives into technical requirements for our data team. Additionally, you will drive personalization at scale by leveraging Liquid templating to build dynamic, data-driven email content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data verification from PIMS to C.IO ensuring accurate and consistent information is reflected across both systems
  • Use JSON and/or JaveScript to create liquid templating for dynamic email content
  • Be an ambassador for Marketing to IT, working cross-functionally to relay data needs
  • Send communications (Email, SMS, Push, etc) for hospitals in C.IO
  • Partnering with Marketing to provide C.IO data for reporting

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Data analysis for understanding and manipulating data structure
  • Problem-solving for technical challenges and data discrepancies
  • Clear communication to clarify Marketing briefs and project requirements to the Data team
  • Experience and working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBase, PowerBI

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Basic knowledge of veterinary medicine, specifically towards client communication
  • JavaScript and JSON experience


Compensation: This is a non-exempt, hourly position with an expected salary range of $60,000-$70,000.
