JOB SUMMARY

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and supporting the Field Marketing team, this role will play a key part in executing local marketing strategies to support the growth of our specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals in the Pacific time zone.

This temporary position will assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, utilizing a combination of traditional and digital tactics to increase awareness of hospital services, promote site launches and expansions, and support referral and client communications. Key responsibilities include creating marketing materials, supporting social media efforts, monitoring and managing online reputation, and developing internal and external communications (B2C and B2B).

The Marketing Specialist will also collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and hospital leadership to ensure marketing efforts align with hospital objectives and contribute to broader initiatives such as recruitment marketing, crisis communications, and local outreach.

This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional to make a meaningful contribution to a mission-driven, fast-paced veterinary healthcare environment on a temporary assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Develop and implement marketing programs and activities, working closely with the Marketing Manager and the local hospital team to drive visits, increase consideration and awareness of hospitals, and educate referring veterinarians and clients about services offered.

·        Develop marketing materials and content for offline and online communications, including but not limited to digital ads, brochures, merchandise, flyers, and other collateral, content calendars, social media, email, websites, etc.

·        Support the management of assigned hospital social properties and online reputation by assisting with content curation, optimizing paid and organic posts, and helping respond to customer comments and concerns in collaboration with relevant partners.

·        Analyze performance across marketing channels, monitor competition, and track performance against marketing and business goals.

·        Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to update and optimize online listings, website content, and digital advertising campaigns.

·        Perform other duties as assigned.

  

QUALIFICATIONS

·        3+ years of marketing experience, with proven ability to create engaging content for social media, websites, and email communications.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms.  Experience with Constant Contact, Mailchimp, and SproutSocial is a plus.

·        Experience managing multiple social media channels - not just posting content, but managing the channel, which includes a mix of content strategy, paid/organic posting, responding to reviews, and tracking followers/reach/engagement.

·        Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including strong copywriting and grammar skills.

·        Self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to work with a team as well as individually

·        Animal health or healthcare experience is a plus

·        Bachelor's Degree required
