Yokayo Veterinary Center located in Ukiah, CA is seeking a Managing DVM to join our practice.

$100k Sign-On Bonus Package, 4 week sabbatical, Partnership Opportunity 


For many years now, Yokayo Veterinary Center has provided everything pet related to the Ukiah, CA area. Our clinic is small animal exclusive, serving dogs and cats with compassionate and quality care.


At Yokayo Veterinary Center, our goal is to provide the highest quality and most compassionate medical care with fair pricing. We will always strive to maintain a well trained and empathetic hospital staff as we understand the strength of the human-animal bond. 


We are looking for an experienced MDVM to join our highly skilled team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion to be constantly learning and easy to work with. Someone who is a strong leader, good with clients, willing to live in a small outdoorsy community, confident, hardworking, an effective communicator and collaborates with our team members to provide the highest quality care to our patients. 


Practice days are Monday through Saturday, with doctors rotating through appointments and surgery. Competitive compensation within the range of $150,000-$200,000k+ negotiable based on experience with production pay, medical insurance, 401K with company match and generous CE stipend.

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL:

  • Yokayo Veterinary Center is a 4-doctor, AAHA accredited hospital
  • Equipment and procedures include:
    • Digital general x-ray with Telemed consultations
    • Digital dental x-ray (newly purchased Logiq S7)
    • K-Laser therapy
    • Endoscopy
    • Cryosurgery
    • Basic and specialized dental instrumentation and supplies with a strong interest in routine dentistry, bonding, endodontics (root canals), guided tissue regeneration, and composite restorations.
  • We encourage and support the cultivation of doctors' special veterinary interests.

Yokayo Veterinary Center is located within Ukiah Valley, 2 and ½ hours north of San Francisco. Ukiah is considered part of the greater viticulture area of Northern California, with orchards, vineyards and wineries located throughout Mendocino County. It is only a short drive to the redwoods and the coastal towns of Fort Bragg, Mendocino and Caspar. Ukiah boasts several fine restaurants, Mendocino Brewing Co., and is home to boutiques and superstores.
