AUC in beautiful Denver, Colorado, is seeking a passionate and experienced veterinarian to step into the role of Medical Director. About the Role:

As Medical Director, you’ll serve as the clinical leader and play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of medical excellence and teamwork. You’ll partner closely with our Hospital Administrator to lead operations while ensuring the highest standard of patient care, client communication, and team development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and upholding medical protocols and standards of care.

  • Collaborating with leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and recruitment.

  • Leading by example in clinical work, mentoring associate veterinarians and support staff.

  • Driving medical quality improvements and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  • Supporting and enhancing our in-house mental health and resilience programs.

  • Serving as a voice and advocate for our patients, clients, and team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • DVM or equivalent degree and eligibility for Colorado licensure.

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical veterinary experience (urgent care or ER preferred).

  • Demonstrated leadership experience (formal or informal).

  • Passion for team building, collaboration, and mentorship.
