Central Animal Hospital, a well-established practice in St. Petersburg, Florida, has been serving the Tampa Bay area for over 40 years. We are a general practice offering a wide range of services, including wellness/preventative care, geriatric care, in-house lab testing, x-ray and ultrasound imaging, dentistry, integrative medicine and nutrition, acupuncture, and Canine Rehabilitation. About Our Hospital:

  • 4-Day Work Week: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 6 pm (with a 1-hour lunch break), CLOSED on weekends

Responsibilities: As Medical Director, you will provide leadership, oversee associate veterinarians, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will foster a collaborative environment that delivers high-quality care. 


You will work closely with the Hospital Manager to manage the hospital’s financial performance, prepare operating and capital budgets, and ensure fiscal goals are met. Together, you’ll manage the practice under the guidance of NVA Divisional Leadership.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $140K - $170K depending on experience and 24% production on services
  • Bonuses: Up to $50K in sign-on, retention, and relocation assistance if applicable
