Medical Director Opportunity – Mid-Columbia Pet Emergency Service (MCPES)

Mid-Columbia Pet Emergency Service (MCPES) is a well-established emergency-only hospital serving Washington’s Tri-Cities region. Since 1996, we have been the go-to emergency provider within a 2–4 hour radius, offering a wide variety of challenging cases and fostering a collaborative, award-winning culture. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Director to lead our dedicated team of emergency veterinarians. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical skills, a commitment to mentorship, and a desire to grow or step into a leadership role that shapes the future of emergency veterinary care at MCPES.

Compensation & Benefits:

-$300K+ annual earning potential through 23–25% production (no negative accrual)
-Guaranteed minimum of 10 shifts/month (day or swing) with $170K base
Shift pay:
$1,400 – Day (6am–6pm)
$1,400 – Swing (1pm–1am)
$1,600 – Night (6pm–6am)
Medical Director stipend: $1,400/month ($16,800/year)
Leadership CE allowance: $2,500 annually
