    • Minimum base salary of $175,000, with top-of-market 25% production
    • $30,000-50,000 annual leadership stipend based on prior experience

Your Role

As Medical Director, you’ll balance clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, acting as both a role model on the floor and a strategic partner behind the scenes.

You will:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care (~75% clinical)
  • Oversee medical standards, protocols, and quality initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and support our ER doctor team
  • Partner with the Hospital Director to shape operations, recruitment, and long-term planning
  • Foster team collaboration and a culture of accountability, growth, and trust
  • Strengthen relationships with referring veterinarians and the local community
  • Collaborate with Ethos Veterinary Health to access leadership development, clinical education, and research opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • DVM or equivalent and eligibility for a Wisconsin veterinary license
  • Emergency medicine experience
  • Minimum 2–5 years of leadership experience
  • A passion for mentorship and driving medical excellence
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Confidence in making decisions and solving complex problems
  • A solutions-focused, adaptable leadership style
