Casper Animal Medical Center

Job Description

Casper Animal Medical Center in Casper, WY is looking to add a 4th Associate Veterinarian to our growing hospital!

Our team is caring, dedicated, fun, and supportive. We believe in a healthy work-life balance, and provide ample growth opportunities through mentorship and continuing education. We are committed to serving all pets, in every way possible. We are the only fully mixed-animal practice in Casper, Wyoming, where we see everything from reptiles and exotics to equines and large animals. We have our own boarding facility, a separate equine/large animal hospital, an ambulatory unit for house and farm calls, digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscope, therapeutic laser, and an extensive in-house laboratory. We provide emergency care to the entire city and surrounding area, in conjunction with other local hospitals.

  • We are a predominately small animal practice with some exotics and 20%-30% equine.
  • We offer a great benefits package including continuing education days/allowance, 401K, insurance (medical, dental, vision, PLIT, and more), and paid vacation.
  • Our Doctors currently share an on-call rotation of one night a week, and every 3rd weekend.
  • We pay a base salary based on experience and qualifications with additional production-based bonuses paid monthly and emergency call pay. Current DVMs are making between $120-180K per year after production bonuses are paid.
  • Ideal schedule would be four 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays, but we are also open to part-time or relief help as well.

You will fit right in if you enjoy a western lifestyle with access to extensive outdoor activities, all minutes away. The North Platte River runs through Casper and you can go fishing, walk along the river or float the river in the summer. Casper Mountain provides a backdrop for our entire city and it takes minutes to reach the base. On the mountain, there are trails to hike, bike, snowshoe, and Nordic ski. We also have our own ski resort! Our downtown is thriving and we offer a diverse range of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. We would love to have you become a part of our CAMC family.
