National Veterinary Associates is searching for a Multi-Site Hospital Manager in the Houston Texas Area!!

Position Overview: The Multi-Site Hospital Manager oversees the performance of four Hospital locations in Houston. Working closely with the Manager of Regional Operations, the manager ensures operational excellence, drives local marketing initiatives, fosters team development, and maximizes sales and profitability while upholding high standards of service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

General:

  • Ensure consistent execution of excellent operations across all assigned hospitals.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to Hospital Leaders in guest experience, operations, staffing, inventory, marketing, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to implement company initiatives, ensuring adherence to operational policies and procedures.

Financial/Business:

  • Develop hospital strategies to meet budget goals, track P&L performance, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Own meeting all financial targets for the region, including pricing, leases, and capital expenditures.
  • Drive area sales growth through strategic marketing plans and local initiatives.

Team Management:

  • Select, develop, and evaluate Market Leaders and General Managers, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with Regional Leadership to establish personal development goals and succession plans.
  • Foster a positive team environment, recognizing individual and team achievements and inspiring business results.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and retention efforts to ensure proper staffing and succession planning.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and manage diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in delegation, accountability, business planning, and communication across multiple sites.
  • Proven track record in hiring, training, and managing staff in a multi-site environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the veterinary industry.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Experience:

·         Minimum five years of veterinary management and P&L responsibility.
