We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Veterinary Ultrasonographer to join our team and deliver high-quality diagnostic services to our veterinary practices in the Salt Lake City area.
Job Description: As a Travel Veterinary Ultrasonographer at NVA, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostic ultrasound examinations on animal patients in various veterinary clinics and hospitals within the Salt Lake City area. Your expertise will support veterinarians in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, contributing to the overall health and care of pets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations on a variety of animal species, including dogs, cats, and exotic pets.
  • Travel to different veterinary clinics and hospitals in the Salt Lake City area as scheduled to provide on-site ultrasound services.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians to interpret ultrasound results and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
  • Document and report findings accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to veterinarians, pet owners, and clinic staff.
  • Stay current with advancements in veterinary ultrasound technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Valid veterinary license in Utah.
  • Specialized training and certification in veterinary ultrasonography.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing veterinary ultrasound examinations.
  • In-depth knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Salt Lake City area and adapt to different clinic environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
