As the Business Development Associate, you will play a vital role in shaping NVA Equine’s success by building and maintaining key customer relationships, analyzing market trends, and driving strategies that elevate our business and expand our footprint. This position requires a mix of strategic thinking, industry knowledge, and people skills to engage effectively with partners and clients, fostering growth and strengthening NVA Equine’s industry presence.


What You’ll Do:

  • Build Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with current and potential partners to promote NVA Equine's products and services, actively pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyze market trends and data to provide monthly reports on business development initiatives and recommend strategic improvements to maximize revenue and engagement.
  • Industry Presence: Represent NVA Equine in the industry by engaging in business development activities, building visibility, and staying updated on trends and opportunities.
  • Data and Partner Management: Maintain accurate and updated information on partner practices and develop a thorough understanding of the equine veterinary landscape.

What You Bring:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 3-9 years of proven sales experience; background in veterinary or medical sales is a plus.
  • Key Skills: You’re a natural communicator with strong organizational and analytical skills. Your time management and presentation abilities help you excel in collaborative, team-focused environments.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the equine industry is preferred, though not required; passion and eagerness to learn and grow are essential.
  • Relationship Building: You thrive on creating and sustaining relationships across all levels and are skilled at fostering positive, long-term connections.
