Summary:
National Veterinary Associates is looking to hire a Network Engineer to join our growing Business Technology and Operations team. The Network Engineer is responsible for managing network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Firewall, SDWAN, and 802.11 wireless.
The team is in an exciting phase of implementing next generation technologies to support the business in the coming years, and the right candidate will be central in helping to scope and deploy these services to our hospital footprint.
Roles/Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills and empathy
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain the network infrastructure that supports the NVA hospitals, resorts, and support center
• Document configuration of new and replacement hardware, addition of new services and platforms
• Write KBs for the support staff in the service center for the solutions you deploy, enabling visibility and action to improve incident resolution and reduce escalations
• Implement and maintain security rulesets across the environment
• Assist the Telecom team with data circuit provisioning and consultation on new deployments
• Support the SDWAN (VeloCloud) and security (Palo Alto Prisma) environment
• Support the Security Team with their initiatives and projects
• Ability to perform some system administration in a Microsoft Windows environment

• Enterprise, multi-site (WAN), branch office environment
• Understanding of Cloud technologies
• Strong understanding of route/switch fundamentals, DMVPN, MPLS, and/or SDWAN experience a plus
• Experience creating application-based firewall rulesets
• Router configuration and troubleshooting, including high availability and WAN failover
• 5+ years of direct technical experience.
• Experience with HPE/Aruba LAN Products
• CCNA (R+S, Collaboration), CCNA (Security), CCNP (R&S, Collaboration), CCNP (Security), or equivalent experience
• Palo Alto Certifications and experience preferred
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is between $100,000-$110,000 with the opportunity for an annual incentive bonus. The position is also eligible for benefits.
