**Job Opportunity: Operations Assistant/Customer Service Representative (CSR)**

 

Bayhill Equine is looking for a full-time Operations Assistant/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team! We are a small, sports medicine specialized, fully ambulatory practice serving the San Francisco Peninsula. In this position, you will work closely with the practice manager to ensure our doctors have the support they need while also fulfilling a customer service role.

 

**Position Details:**

- **Type:** Full-time

- **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

- **Experience Required:** 1-2 years in customer service within the veterinary field; equine experience preferred.

- **Compensation:** The base hourly rate for this position is $26 - $28. Pay is determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Answer phone calls and correspond with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner.

- Schedule appointments efficiently.

- Process payments accurately.

- Update and maintain client and patient records.

- Monitor inventory, including turnover, stocking, expiration dates, monthly adjustments, and quarterly counts.

- Assist with equipment maintenance and routine cleaning.

- Help manage company vehicles, including servicing, routine cleaning, inventory organization, and repairs.

- Ensure lab supplies are stocked and follow up on test results.

- Assist with scheduling and communication for vaccine clinics.

- Support accounts receivable collection efforts.

- Provide assistance to the practice manager as needed.

 

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- 1-2 years of customer service experience in the veterinary field.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong willingness to work as part of a collaborative team.

- Equine experience is a plus, but not required.
