Job Description

Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) in Los Angeles, California is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian!

The Position:

  • FT Overnight ER position, to include some swing shifts if desired
    • 10-hour shifts- overnight is 10p-8a & swing is 4p-2a
  • depending on experience and # of shifts per month
    • for qualified candidates for this role
  • All shifts include overlapping with evening and critical care doctors
  • Block scheduling to accommodate more days off in a row

The Hospital:

Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) is a 24-hour emergency and specialty animal hospital located in the heart of Hollywood, California. The current hospital has two campuses, the main hospital and outpatient facility, however the hospital is building a brand-new state of the art 52,000 square foot location to move into in 2025!

Departments include:

  • Emergency 24 hours a day
  • Critical Care seven days a week
  • Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Nutrition, Dentistry, & Rehabilitation

Our advanced equipment includes:

  • On-site oxygen generator system, high flow nasal oxygen, a bedside real time viscoelastic hemostasis assessment system, digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, laparoscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, and more!

We also have doctor assistants for DVMs. In addition, we also have a dedicated team of on-site veterinary social workers that support both the doctor team and patient families.
