Job Description

The Pet Resort Supervisor is a leader and an integral member of the veterinary hospital management team. The Pet Resort Supervisor partners with the Hospital Manager to provide a smooth and profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs with in boarding and daycare while helping create a culture based on high quality patient care and exceptional customer service.  Responsibilities include managing, planning, and coordinating the overall operations of the boarding and daycare department while cultivating an supportive and collaborative team environment.

Job Duties:

- acts as a champion for change and identifies, documents, shares and promotes best practices

- participates in the planning and budget maintenance process

- establishes goals for the resort and staff

- creates the schedule for the staff and manages labor costs to budget

- partners with the Hospital Manager to address staffing needs including hiring, training, reviewing, and disciplining of staff

- manages the resort staff

- demonstrates and reinforces the highest level of client service

- resolves client issues and escalations and oversees client follow up communication

- drives client visits through strategic client communication and local marketing efforts

- In addition to all of the manager responsibilities the Pet Resort Supervisor  is also responsible for performing all of the duties of the kennel staff

Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in business or related degree is preferred

- 3-5 years in a manager role, including customer service experience

- experience in a veterinary hospital/Resort is a must

- Supervisory and leadership experience

- reporting and data analysis

- basic computer skills

- staff management including, coaching, developing and motivating staff

- interpersonal skills with staff and clients, and works well in a team environment

- model a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients

 

Full-time

8 hour work day 8-6pm

Pay range $22.00-$24.00
