Job Description

Alliance Animal Health Center in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time, experienced dog and cat groomer to join our team.

Alliance Animal Health Center is a multi-doctor practice who has been serving the community for over 25 years. We offer grooming services to dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds.

We are looking for a grooming professional who excels at communicating with clients and provides custom quality grooming.

Pay is commission-based plus tips.

Our groomers are responsible for client consultation, bathing, drying, grooming/hair cutting, nail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, de-matting, styling, and brushing per the client’s instructions.

We offer grooming services at our hospital Monday – Friday. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Typical work days begin at 7:00am and end upon completion of grooms, client communication, and cleaning.

Job Requirements:

-          Ability to groom all canine and feline breeds and sizes to the liking of our clients.

-          Ability to communicate with a diverse client base

-          Positive, friendly attitude – works well in a team environment

-          Ability to take direction from clients and management

-          Must provide own grooming tools and table – We provide bathing and drying facilities

-          Must have at least 3 years grooming experience

-          Must have at least 1 year of grooming experience in a clinic setting.

-          Must provide references and job history

-          Must demonstrate grooming skills in clinic and provide photos of pervious grooms.

-          Must be able to groom dogs up to 120 lbs.

Hours per week: 40

Pay: Commission plus tips
