Summary
We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the Business Operations team and help shape data-driven pricing strategies across our network of veterinary hospitals. This role is critical to ensuring pricing decisions balance clinic operations, client sensitivity, and business performance. The Pricing Analyst will analyze data, develop insights, and support pricing recommendations that improve revenue growth, margin health, and consistency across hospitals. This individual will report to the Pricing Senior Manager.

Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Pricing Strategy & Analysis
• Evaluate historical sales, service utilization, and client purchasing behavior to identify pricing opportunities
• Benchmark pricing across hospitals, markets, and competitors to ensure fairness and competitiveness
• Model pricing scenarios to measure potential revenue and client impact
• Support the development of guidelines and frameworks for consistent, scalable pricing practices
Performance Monitoring
• Track KPIs such as revenue growth, margin performance, price realization, and discounting practices
• Identify pricing anomalies or outliers across clinics and surface recommendations to leadership
• Prepare regular reporting to monitor outcomes following pricing changes
Process & System Improvement
• Support efforts to improve data accuracy and consistency across multiple systems
• Contribute to the development of pricing tools, templates, and processes that hospitals can easily adopt
• Stay current on veterinary industry trends, consumer expectations, and pricing best practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Operations, Data, and Marketing teams to align pricing strategies with clinic workflows, client communications, and brand standards
• Work closely with veterinarians and hospital leaders to understand clinical considerations and client sensitivities around pricing
• Translate technical analysis into clear, actionable insights for both executive and clinic-level audiences
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
• 2+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or data analytics — preferably in healthcare, retail, or other multi-location businesses
• Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple systems
Technical Skills
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling); experience with query languages (e.g. SQL) and programming languages (e.g. R, Python) preferred
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Comfort with healthcare or veterinary practice management systems a plus
Analytical & Business Skills
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Ability to connect data insights to business realities — including clinic operations and client experiences
• Understanding of revenue, cost, and margin drivers in a service-based business
Communication & Collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex findings
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across corporate teams and hospital leadership
• Empathy for the client and patient experience, with sensitivity to the role pricing plays in veterinary care decisions
The salary range to for this role is $62,500 - $110,000 and is eligible for benefits.
