Job Summary: 

Serves as a strategic partner to leaders across our veterinary network, playing a critical role in shaping the leadership and cultural fabric of Ethos. This role is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of core programs that foster professional growth, learning, wellness, and a purpose-driven employee experience. 


The Community Team combines several specialized services and provides organization-wide programs and services: Culture building tools, leadership effectiveness, development skills, and wellness. We provide planning and development to support team members to meet the changing needs of the organization and the vet med industry.   


Job Responsibilities:

Working across teams and locations, this leader will support consistent and scalable programs that reflect our values, support organizational goals, and meet the evolving needs of the veterinary profession.  This includes and is not limited to:


Lead Site Support & Retreats

  • Act as an internal consultant to hospital leaders and teams, offering guidance and tools in areas like change management and team effectiveness in assigned geography.
  • Design and deliver resources that promote shared values, leadership consistency, and a unified team member experience across all sites.
  • Direct partnership with senior field leaders to develop strategy and initiatives to support hospital teams.
  • Facilitate wellness retreats and community programs tailored to the unique needs of veterinary professionals and the future of work.
Culture Strategy
  • Develop and facilitate enterprise-wide culture initiatives that promote inclusion, purpose, and learning.
  • Facilitate the co-creation and implementation of cultural programs and resources through collaborative design with team members across Ethos.
  • Support integration of culture strategies/content into other key processes across the team member lifecycle and experience (onboarding, development, team agreements, toolkits, etc).

Leadership Development

  • Design, development, and implementation of leadership development programs for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders while ensuring those initiatives are in alignment with company culture.
  • Support the use of data and advanced analytics to identify capability gaps and inform targeted learning interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, ROI, and impact, with recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Research and integrate modern leadership models, learning modalities, and best practices into development strategies.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, with a proven track record in developing and modern training methods (adult learning, mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.); Professional coaching certification strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in a variety of change management principles, practices, processes and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a trusted advisor and influential leader, with a proactive approach to supporting, coaching, and enabling leaders to drive results.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messaging and influence across all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and navigate complex, unstructured situations with sound judgment and composure.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments; adaptable and resilient with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and professional maturity; capable of building trust and credibility quickly in a variety of settings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support multi-site teams and field operations (estimated up to 50% travel).

Located: Remote USA 



The base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$125,000. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location.
