Job Summary:
National Veterinary Associates is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position will be pivotal in managing a portfolio of multiple projects, from inception through implementation. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with functional departments, oversee change management initiatives, and ensure the seamless execution of projects aligned with strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the veterinary industry or complex multi-site retail or healthcare organizations, along with a strong track record of successfully operating within matrixed environments. The role requires excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills, with an ability to manage cross-functional teams and guide organizational change efforts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Coordination:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and key deliverables.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution. Oversee project dependencies, critical paths, and timelines to meet established goals and deadlines.
• Provide regular status updates and communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks, proactively devise contingency plans, and resolve project issues to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards and stay within budget.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution:
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute change management strategies to support the adoption and implementation of organizational changes.
• Assess the impact of changes on processes, people, and systems, and create strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
• Facilitate collaboration between functional departments and project teams to drive integration and optimize resources.
• Lead communication efforts by developing clear messaging to engage stakeholders and minimize resistance to change.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, proposals, and documentation to track progress and communicate outcomes.
• Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they align with NVA’s strategic priorities and are delivered on time and within scope.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the veterinary industry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and manage organizational change.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inform stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to navigate matrixed organizations and collaborate across departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risks and contingencies effectively.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
