Job Description

National Veterinary Associates is looking for a Facilities Property Manager to support our Pet Resort facilities. 


Job Summary:

The Property Manager role will be a project management focused role that includes the coordination and administration of all resort facility maintenance and capital expenditure projects. This includes overseeing aspects of routine maintenance and guaranteeing the safety and functionality of all Pet Resorts as well as remodels and retrofits.

This candidate will work cross functionally with other departments within NVA while coordinating the scheduling, planning, tracking and on-site operations of resort R&M and CapEx projects. A successful candidate should be able to correspond with contractors on active projects, maintain up to date records on projects, manage the project budget and report financials.

This candidate should be highly organized and meticulous, with the ability to manage multiple projects with a large degree of autonomy. 


Responsibilities:

  • Support Resort Operations during repairs and maintenance projects.
  • old remediation projects.
  • Review on-site completion of work contracted and completed.
  • Assist in the creation of scalable processes and best practices.
  • Manages Pipeline call including agenda and recap.
  • Training new managers on facilities and CapEx entries in QB.
  • Updated QB with needed info per project.
  • Support Resort Operations with CapEx projects.
  • Create forecasting reporting tools for all CapEx projects using key metrics and evaluation performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain company safety management programs and various resources (safety manuals, SOPs, policies, training presentations, etc.) that meet federal, state, and company safety requirements.
  • Deliver onsite instruction to managers during DeNovos turnover.
  • Complete Stress Test and follow-up for DeNovos.
  • Complete 11-month warranty walk through on DeNovos
  • Follow up with developers/trades for facilities issues on DeNovos.
  • Update and maintain Quickbase.

Qualifications:

  • Capable of working on multiple projects, sometimes at a fast pace.
  • Precise attention to detail to ensure quotes are accurate and issues are adequately addressed.
  • Organization and the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Problem-solving to find effective solutions to a variety of potential issues.
  • Ability to work remotely and in a self-motivated way.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of Operation objectives to complete a job to their satisfaction.
  • Possesses a positive and professional attitude.
  • Occasional travel to resorts when required.
  • Working knowledge of construction trade practices and safety requirements sufficient to manage all phases of project planning, construction, and renovation.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of construction projects.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $98,000 and based on applicable experience.
