Position Summary
The Recruitment Manager-Equine leads the strategy and execution of talent acquisition efforts for equine veterinarians for multiple veterinary practices across the United States and Canada. This role partners closely with clinical leadership and operations to ensure consistent, high-quality hiring that supports patient care, practice growth, and retention goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce plans
• Recruit, lead, coach, and manage a recruiter.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand DVM needs, job requirements, and timelines
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
• Monitor recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire, diversity metrics) and report on performance
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the hiring process
• Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and job boards
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
• Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes and employer branding efforts
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition/Human Resources experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and employment law
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting analytics
• Excellent communication, time management, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
The base salary range for the position is $89,500 - 120,000 with opportunity for an annual incentive.
