Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand Manager

National Veterinary Associates

Job Description

About the Role:

NVA Equine is seeking a creative and strategic Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand Manager to join our growing marketing team. Whether you’re an employer branding specialist, a recruiter turned marketing pro, or a digital content creator with a passion for talent acquisition, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape a compelling recruitment marketing strategy within the equine veterinary industry.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and working closely with the Head of Recruiting, you'll help build and scale a cohesive brand strategy that attracts top-tier talent.  You will support local branding efforts to fill high priority roles by capturing key value propositions and facilitating effective campaigns that bring the DNA of each practice to life for potential candidates.  We are a fast-paced, mission-driven, and community-oriented team that believes in the human-animal bond and supports a culture of collaboration and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design and execute a measurable recruitment marketing strategy that reflects our Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

·         Manage the content calendar across LinkedIn, our Careers Site, Instagram, and other platforms to ensure consistent, engaging communication at all candidate touchpoints.

·         Create social-first content (video, photos, graphics, blogs) using tools like Canva and Adobe to elevate our employer brand and tell authentic people stories.

·         Own and develop our LinkedIn Life page to enhance candidate experience and increase follower engagement.

·         Lead local practice-level employer branding initiatives to attract candidates to specific roles in competitive veterinary markets.

·         Facilitate and support Mission, Vision, and Core Values workshops at the practice level to strengthen internal alignment and community engagement.

·         Partner cross-functionally with Recruiting, HR, Marketing, and Operations to ensure strategic alignment and impactful storytelling.

·         Develop marketing documentation, including FAQs, user guides, and training materials to support internal teams.

·         Monitor performance data from recruitment campaigns and apply insights to optimize future efforts.

·         Write clear and compelling copy for campaigns and internal communications, capturing meaningful moments and showcasing our unique practice cultures.

Qualifications & Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

·         3+ years of experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, brand marketing, or talent acquisition marketing.

·         Proficiency with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram) and marketing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, video editing tools).

·         Strong writing and storytelling skills with a portfolio of content examples (preferred).

·         Experience in facilitating or supporting workshops and training sessions.

·         Familiarity with recruitment funnels and the candidate lifecycle.

·         Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.

·         Strong presentation and collaboration skills—comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

Other Requirements:

·         Remote position (U.S.-based) with occasional travel (~10% annually).

·         Passion for the human-animal bond and an understanding of the veterinary field.

·         Enthusiastic about working in a non-hierarchical, transparent, and trust-based culture.

·         Resourceful, proactive, and able to make independent judgments in a fast-paced environment.
