Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Douglas Animal Hospital

Job Description

Registered Veterinary Technician Position

Douglas Animal Hospital, Fredericton, NB

We are looking for an RVT to join our busy, 5-DVM Team in beautiful Fredericton, NB.  Our clinic is fast-paced and fully equipped where no two days are the same – especially since we care for both companion animals and local wildlife.  If you are an RVT who thrives on variety, collaboration, and making a difference, we’d love to meet you.

What’s so special about Fredericton?  EVERYTHING !  The beautiful Saint John River runs through the City, providing miles of scenic walking and biking trails to explore.  We have an abundance of local craft breweries, outdoor patios, fabulous restaurants, and a great cultural scene.

We offer a supportive and experienced veterinary team that truly values RVTs, allowing opportunities to grow your skills in areas that interest you.  Also, we have a culture that cares – about our patients, clients, and each other.  Four-day workweeks and no weekends support a great work-life balance.

You will be part of a great benefits package including a competitive wage, group insurance, RRSP contributions, and an annual Wellness benefit.

We are looking for a licensed RVT (or soon-to-be!) with solid technical skills who is organized, adaptable, and enjoys providing high quality patient care.  An interest in wildlife medicine is a big plus!

Come be a part of something meaningful – find out what makes Douglas Animal Hospital a great place to work.  Resumes can be submitted to dah@dah.ca, attention Hospital Manager.   Please note, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
