Job Description

The New Glasgow Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Full Time RVT to join us! Our team is experienced, compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated to providing our clients with excellent service and their pets with the best of care.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, surgery, and treatments
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
  • Perform laboratory testing and radiography
  • Educate pet owners on animal health and wellness
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Provide exceptional care to patients and clients

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Veterinary Technician certification/licensure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

·         Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

 

Position Requirements
RVT: Licensed to conduct RVT roles and responsibilities in Nova Scotia.
Candidates are required to have WHMIS, and Basic First Aid certification and/or clearance.

Being able to lift pets or product up to 25kg is a requirement.
