Job Description

We are currently seeking a part time or full time reliable and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our experienced veterinary technician team and support high-quality patient care.

Cumberland Veterinary Hospital is a full-service small animal practice serving the Orléans and Ottawa community for over 30 years. We offer a wide range of services including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, laser therapy, and integrative medicine, with a strong focus on patient comfort and client communication.

We strongly value our RVTs as an essential part of the medical team. Our technicians are encouraged to fully utilize their skills, contribute their knowledge and opinions, and take an active role in patient care and clinic operations. We foster a collaborative environment where RVTs are respected, supported, and trusted for their expertise.

This is a temporary position available immediately until November 2027.

The schedule would consist of the following shifts:

  • Day shifts (8 am – 4 pm)
  • Evening shifts (12 pm – 8 pm)
  • Rotating Saturdays every 3rd or 4th (9 am – 1pm)
