Lifetime Animal Care Center in San Diego, CA is looking for a Credentialed and Experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our amazing TEAM!

We are an AAHA accredited, 2 doctor, small animal and exotic veterinary center. Our team is dedicated to providing knowledgeable compassionate, and caring services to our patients and clients. Lifetime Animal Care Center is seeking a highly self-motivated, team-oriented veterinary technician. We are equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, in house laboratories, laser therapy and able to provide high quality veterinary care. We offer wellness and preventative care, dental cleanings, soft tissue surgeries, and more to support pets at any stage of their life.

Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, assisting doctors in surgery, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come! We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work!

Our Ideal Candidate:

·         Credentialed Veterinary Technician

·         Recent graduate of AVMA accredited school, with intent to sit for VTNE

·         Previous Veterinary Experience > 1 year (Required)

·         Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM (to include but not limited to placing IV Catheters, venipuncture, patient assessment, surgical preparation, anesthesia, surgical nursing)

·         Client Communication, Excellent Customer Service

·         Passion for Preventative Care and Client Education

·         Ability to assess situations with a sense of urgency and remain calm during stressful or emotional situations 

·         Motivated, Positive, TEAM Player

 

Anticipated Schedule:

·         We are open Monday – Friday

·         Full time, 5-day work weeks (8-hour shifts)

·         Part time available

Compensation:

·         Competitive, experience and credential-based compensation

·         $23-27/hour
