🐾 We're Hiring: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Brentwood, CA 🐾
Location: 4421 Balfour Rd. Suite A. Brentwood, California

Are you a passionate Registered Veterinary Technician looking for a dynamic and supportive team where your skills are valued and your growth is encouraged? We’re a busy general practice veterinary hospital in the heart of Brentwood, CA, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic RVT to join our dedicated and compassionate team.

About Us:
Our clinic provides high-quality, personalized care to companion animals and their families. We are a fast-paced, team-oriented practice with a strong commitment to patient care and client education. We currently have six full-time Doctors with plans on expanding. Our services include preventive care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and emergency care during business hours.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support veterinarians during exams, surgeries, procedures, and euthanasia’s
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
  • Perform diagnostic tests and radiographs
  • Prepares animals for surgery and other anesthetic/sedated procedures including IV catheter placement and maintenance, fluid administration, and pre-op/post-op duties
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia as well as assist in surgical preparation and recovery
  • Perform dental cleaning including dental radiographs, assist with extractions, and suturing
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a clean, safe environment
  • Administer emergency first aid such as resuscitation or other life-saving procedures
  • Cleans, prepares, and sterilizes instruments, equipment, and materials
  • Pharmacy tasks such as filling prescriptions, measuring medications, and our online pharmacy.
  • Provide excellent client communication and education
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current California RVT license (required)
  • Strong technical skills and a desire to grow professionally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Passion for animal care and client service
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

·         Must be able to lift 40 lbs, walk 100+lb dogs, and stand for extended periods

  • The base hourly range for this position is $25 - $29. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
