Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with experience in veterinary dentistry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident in dental procedures, and passionate about improving animal health through preventive and advanced dental care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, polishing, and scaling
- Take and interpret dental radiographs
- Assist in and monitor anesthesia for dental procedures
- Extractions and oral surgeries
- Maintain accurate patient records and dental charts
- Educate clients on at-home dental care and preventative practices
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of dental equipment
Qualifications
- Current RVT license in [State]
- Minimum [X] years of veterinary dental experience preferred
- Proficiency in dental radiography and anesthesia monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
