About the Hospital:

Frisco Animal Hospital is in the heart of Summit County, Colorado, a small mountain town surrounded by some of the best skiing, mountain biking and hiking in North America! We are a busy three and a half doctor practice that is well known in the community for providing progressive, gold standard medicine. We offer wellness packages, surgical and dental procedures, ultrasound, and radiology for your small animal companions, including exotics, all while making our clients and patients feel like family. The base hourly range for this position is $27.00 - 30.00. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

About You:

  • You are a Registered Veterinary Technician, dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.
  • Take the initiative – you are a hard worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, you will help get all the day’s duties done!
  • You are organized and versatile – you know how to effectively adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
  • You possess clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to):

o Patient assessment and physical examinations

o Phlebotomy and catheter placement

o Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique

o Anesthesia monitoring proficiency

o Perioperative surgical nursing skills

o Routine dental prophylaxis experience

o Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures

Anticipated Schedule (TBD):

· Full-time & Part-time positions available

· Flexible scheduling

· Our hospital is open: Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm

Compensation :

· Credentialed Technicians: Competitive pay from $27 - $30/hr depending on experience. Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
