Sandwich Veterinary Hospital is a small animal general practice that follows Fear Free and Cat Friendly principles, and we’re looking for a skilled and compassionate CVT to join our close-knit team.

Our team is made up of dedicated professionals with incredible longevity. Several of our CSRs and veterinary assistants have been with us for 20–30 years! We also love giving back, partnering with a local shelter to provide exams for adopted pets. 

Our newly promoted Hospital Manager has been part of our team for 13 years and is passionate about thoughtful leadership, listening to the team, supporting individual growth, and creating positive change.  

What We’re Looking For 

We’re seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician who can bring at least 1 year of experience and a passion for great medicine and client care. 

Key skills we’re looking for: 

  • Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support 

  • Dental procedures (prophy, charting, assisting with radiographs) 

  • Laboratory skills – cytology, preparing slides, and diagnostics 

  • Client communication – educating clients and explaining treatments and vaccines with confidence and compassion

Schedule & Pay 

  • Schedule:  30+ hours/week including Saturdays 

  • Compensation: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
