Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital

Job Description

Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital is growing—and this is your chance to grow with us.

Over the past year, our hospital has experienced an exciting and transformative season. With Dr. Tripp joining us this summer, we’ve strengthened our medical standards, aligned our values, and rekindled the culture that makes veterinary medicine meaningful. In December, we welcome Dr. Kessler, and next fall we’ll add a new K-State graduate, completing a refreshed, passionate medical team that is ready to elevate the level of care we provide to the Lawrence community.

Now, we’re looking for experienced veterinary technicians (registration not required) who want to be part of something special—a team that’s rebuilding, growing, and redefining what exceptional preventive care looks like.

Why Clinton Parkway?

Even with all the changes this past year, one thing has become abundantly clear:
our hospital is on a strong, exciting path forward.
We feel secure in our direction and energized by the supportive team we’re building.

At CPAH, culture is everything.
We believe the heart of a successful practice comes from:

  • Teamwork – We’re better as one.

  • Compassion – For our patients, clients, and each other.

  • Transparency – Honest communication and shared expectations.

  • Dedication – Showing up with consistency, commitment, and pride.

We’re fortunate to be part of the NVA community, giving us access to outstanding resources, CE support, mentorship, and operational tools. But what we’re looking for now is a permanent, long-term addition to our team—someone who wants to grow roots with us.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced technicians who love:

  • Providing high-quality preventive care

  • Supporting DVMs in surgery, dentistry, and clinical procedures

  • Anesthesia monitoring and patient advocacy

  • Client education and building trusting relationships

  • Working in a collaborative, positive, forward-focused environment

Whether you’re an established tech or someone who has gained strong hands-on skills in GP or urgent care, we would love to meet you.

Growth Opportunities

We take career development seriously. As we continue expanding, there is real room for advancement, including pathways such as:

  • Technician Team Leader

  • Inventory Manager / Purchasing Lead

  • Equipment & Safety Specialist

  • Training & Development Tech

  • Or continuing education support if you’re pursuing RVT credentials

This is a hospital where you can truly build a career—not just work a job.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience

  • Medical, dental, vision, 401(k)

  • Uniform allowance

  • Generous pet care benefits

  • Paid time off & holiday pay

  • CE opportunities through NVA

  • A supportive leadership team that values your voice

Who We’re Looking For

Someone who is:

  • Experienced in veterinary clinical skills (does not have to be registered)

  • Committed to high-quality medicine and patient care

  • Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented

  • Excited about growth, change, and being part of a rebuild

  • Ready to contribute to a compassionate, cohesive culture
