Greater Annapolis Veterinary Hospital 

We are searching for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! We have been serving the community since 1973 and have been AAHA accredited since 1976. Our team includes 10 DVMs and 50+ support staff. Your responsibilities include hospitalized patient care, surgical preparation, dentistry, client education, client communication and more! We seek team members that are compassionate for people and animals.

Pay: Commensurate with experience.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with clients and team members.
  • Proficient time management, ability to problem solve, learn, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Professional team player with a positive attitude.
  • Be able to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, and work on feet most of the day.
  • Have the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and able to handle stressful situations in a calm manner.
  • Be able to anticipate doctors and patient needs and be detail-oriented due to the high level of quality medicine

Schedule:

  • Four – 10-hour shifts or five – 8-hour shifts depending on hospital needs.
  • Primarily weekdays, but may be needed on the occasional Saturday.

License/Certification:

  • Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
  • Associate degree in Veterinary Technology

Work Location: Annapolis,MD
