Job Summary:

As the Security Team Lead for Oracle Financial Applications, you will be responsible for safeguarding financial data and transactions within the Oracle Financial Applications system. You will oversee the security setup and processes to ensure they meet control standards and effectively manage the Oracle security team. Your role involves ensuring efficient resolution of Oracle-related issues, guiding and supporting team members, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


Some key tasks you might perform in this role include:

  • Configure Oracle Risk Management, Oracle Advanced Controls, and related security tailored to the organization’s needs.
  • Use Oracle Risk Management tools to identify, assess, and analyze risks associated with business processes and transactions.
  • Define and monitor risk metrics and indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and risk management strategies.
  • Define and implement access controls to ensure that only authorized users have access to financial data.
  • Lead a team of Oracle support specialists, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance team morale and productivity.
  • Conduct regular reviews of support cases to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage user accounts and access to the cloud infrastructure, ensuring that appropriate access controls are in place and that users have the access they need to perform their job functions. 
  • Configuring and maintaining user accounts within the system, assigning appropriate roles, and permissions, monitoring user role changes over time and revoking access when necessary.  Ensuring timely inactivation of accounts in the offboarding process
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security issues.
  • Develop and maintain security reports.
  • Implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track user activity and detect any unauthorized access or changes to financial data.
  • Define and enforce segregation of duties (SoD) policies to prevent conflicts of interest that could result in financial fraud.
  • Work closely with the internal audit team to provide necessary information and support for SOX audits.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SOX controls.
  • Ensure that audit trails and logging mechanisms are in place to facilitate auditing and forensic investigations.
  • Research, analyze and recommend security solutions.
  • Ensure that the system is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identifying and resolving system performance, security, and availability issues.
  • Monitoring systems performance and capacity and responding to alerts. 
  • Documenting systems and procedures to support security audits and ITCG controls. 
  • Ensuring compliance with security policies: You would need to ensure that the Oracle Financial Applications system complies with all relevant security policies and regulations, such as SOX and that the appropriate evidence is maintained and easily accessible and reportable.
  • Conducting periodic security assessments of the system, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing remediation plans to address any issues.
  • Collaborating with other IT teams on projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in implementation and configuration of (EDM) Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud System.
  • Assist in training and managing approval workflows and user support of EDM
  • Stay up to date with new cloud technologies and services, evaluate their potential impact on the organization's infrastructure, and make recommendations for adoption where appropriate.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Financial Applications security Cloud experience preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Risk Management Cloud (RMC) design, implementation or assessment experience including Advanced Access Controls (AAC).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications security best practices and standards.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud role design across functional (ERP, EPM, OTBI) and technical (e.g. - Security Console, Setup & Maintenance, OIC) domain areas.
  • Managing and understanding SDLC for Oracle Cloud product implementations, and configurations - e.g. security and control, and/or optimizations of business process controls and application security
  • Experience with developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ITCG and SOX controls
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose solutions.
  • Experience with Application Security and user auditing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with a Ticketing system such as Service Now.
  • Experience with EDM is a plus

The base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $115,000. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location.
